Real Hope by Sheryl Lackey I’ve been pondering the question, what is it about hope that speaks so deeply to us? We hear stories of people triumphing good over bad. It deposits hope in our heart. We root for the underdog because we know if he or she can do it, we can too! Hope rises within us. When life seems to keep dealing you blows; you lose your job, your teenager gets in trouble at school…again, your mom’s been diagnosed with a life threatening illness; if someone gives you just one word of hope, doesn’t it somehow help you hang on?
